Storyboarding It

Today I went to Office Depot to pick up a cork board/bulletin board. After reading back over my novel yesterday, I realized I need a better way to keep track of details and when certain things need to happen. I created a storyboard a couple of weeks ago, but it was in a word document that was in short paragraph form. I had the idea to get a bulletin board so that I could visually keep track of things. I also got some push pins and some index cards to write down the scenes, clue, red herrings, etc when they are to occur and when something needs to be addressed again.

I also considered getting a foam board instead, but I decided that I would like to get something that could be reusable for future novel projects.

I placed it on my painting easel for quick reference, and below is a picture taken with my crappy web camera. I’m not even close to placing everything on there yet, but this is it so far:

Now, I need to get back to writing so I can reach my daily word count goal. :)
