Busy, Busy, Busy
I haven’t had a chance to write anything in a long time. Work has started getting hectic again since the busy pre-holiday season is upon us. Not only that but school is taking up all of my free time. There was a delay in getting my textbooks which involves a long story about how UPS sent me a postcard in the mail telling me to call them to tell them my correct address…since somehow the street where I live doesn’t exist. Even though the postcard made it just fine. After that call, they still couldn’t manage to follow my note of leaving the books outside of my door and proceeded to hold them hostage. I just had to reorder the things and have them sent to the office.
Anyway, so I ended up getting my books a week too late, and I’m struggling to catch up on all of the reading material. You know, the reading material I will be tested on in about three or four weeks.
So, with all of this happening, there has been no progress on the novel. I decided last week (when I was waiting on my books to arrive) that I wanted to create a new blog, separate from this one, to write about random events, issues and thoughts that don’t really have anything to do with writing. I don’t really feel like that stuff belongs here so I plan on putting it all in one heap somewhere else. When I have time. Which feels like will be never.
And on that note, I must get back to my world of falling asleep with my nose rammed in the pages of a textbook discussing the methods to analyze the strategic risks of IT opportunities with the current business model. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
