Gotham Writers Workshops
Next week, a new “semester” of writing workshops begins at Gotham. I actually have never attended any of these workshops, but I have heard they are a great way to amp up the writing. Last week, they had sessions of free sample one-night workshops, and I was planning on going to get a feel for the place. But, alas, I’ve been way too busy with school and work to spend a few hours on something that is only a hobby at this point in my life.
Regardless, if you are in the New York City area and looking for a way to get the creative juices flowing, I recommend trying one of these six or ten week workshops. They are a little pricey, but I think it’s worth it. They have flexible schedules for some of the workshops, offering the classes during the day, at night, on weekends or online.

If you do end up signing up, let me know how it goes! I may join you next semester.
