Upcoming Must-Reads
In the next few months, a few books in the mystery genre will be appearing on the shelves that I will snatch up immediately.
1. Sue Grafton - T is for Trespass. Releases 12/4/ 2007. I absolutely love this series and the lead character, Kinsey Millhone. She’s smart, she’s feisty, and she’s tough. I can’t wait to see what situation Grafton will put her in next.
2. Janet Evanovich - Plum Lucky. Releases 01/08/2008. This is a short Plum novella while we wait for Number Fourteen of the series to be completed and released. I’ve enjoyed the past Plum novellas, so I’m looking forward to this one.
3. J. D. Robb - Creation in Death. Releases 11/06/2007. Lieutenant Eve Dallas is one of my favorite female characters ever created. Her hard-shell exterior is only covering a woman with incredible loyalty, heart and dedication. I have been completely drawn into the series by this character, and I hope J. D. Robb keeps churning out the novels.
Unfortunately, I’m lacking right now when it comes to series written by men. There are several male mystery authors that I enjoy, but none of them have any books being released relatively soon.
Anyway, I strongly recommend picking up any or all of the three books listed above. They are sure to be amazing reads.
