NYC Comic Con, Saturday

Today was the first day I attended the NYC Comic Con! And it was so much fun! We’re going back again tomorrow.

Here’s a quick overview of the day:

1. Got a lot of free stuff, including comic books, novels, posters, magazines and more.

2. Met Nina Harper and got a signed copy of Succubus in the City. I got an extra signed copy as well, and I’ll be having a giveaway for that sometime soon.

3. Met Tony Moore and had him sign the first trade of Walking Dead. He’s the artist for my favorite zombie comics.

4. Saw Jim Butcher, but the line was long for his signing and you had to have a ticket for it. I didn’t have a ticket.

5. Met a great new author, W.L. Hoffman and got a signed copy of his first novel in the Soulstealer War series.

6. Went to a Robot Chicken panel where I saw and listened to Seth Green!!!! If you don’t know, I’m a huge Seth Green fan back from the days of Buffy. I have a few pictures, but the quality is kind of bad.

7. Met Yoda.

 8. Met Superman

9. Saw Milo Ventimiglia.

10. Stared at amazingly beautiful Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings figurines and wished they didn’t cost outrageous prices.

It was a great day! Can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow. I’m planning on sitting in on Jason Dohring’s panel. You know, Logan from Veronica Mars? Yeah, him. Also, Holly Black will be doing a signing, and I’d love to get her to sign Tithe which I just bought last week.
