TG: Weekly Status Update!
I didn’t write as much this week as I had planned or wanted. Things have been quite busy and hectic these days, and I’m managing to carve out only a little time for writing. I’m still carving it out, but I don’t have the two or three hours per day that I need. I’m hoping this week will be better.
Not to say I didn’t make any progress. I’m now over 14k which means I wrote a total of 6k this past week. Not that bad, but it’s a slower pace than I’d like. Especially since I’m itching to get this story on the page! The good news is: I found I’m writing a much cleaner first draft this time around. At this point, it will need a round of editing, but nothing near what the last one needed. Of course, I say that now, but when I look at it with fresh eyes in two months, I may feel differently about it.
